We got the room in the attic -- but it was spacious and clean. The shower water pressure was great. Breakfast was fine -- they even had oat milk. The chairs were terribly comfortable -- and it's located facing the inner courtyard. So very nice. This is a classic hotel -- not a modern hotel. So its furnished to harken back to the olden days. Some of the carpets were sun damaged and could use replacing. But the overall establishment was clean. The one negative -- although the building is charming -- it is located on quite a busy corner (busy for Bad Doberan's standards) -- so it's difficult to lose yourself in the imagination of being in the old world. We could see LIDL from our window.
