    -rooms and most of the building (ancient prison) are very well renovated. Hotel is in the city center -very nice and pleasant staff: helpful and kind -very good breakfast -sadly no A/C in the room but a ventilator -The bathroom is in the room as the toilet which is not very convenient for everyone... -I had only a half bottle of water offered... so someone else used it before, I felt ashamed to report this to the staff

    Maybe the best hostle hotel I’ve stayed in Germany. Clean, great location, updated. I have 2 complaints the wifi didn’t work in my room #5 and checkout is early at 10am. Also I he prettiest city I’ve seen in Germany, Wismar is worth visiting.

    When I booked the “room” it was not made clear that the bed was in a loft that required climbing a ladder and then crawling on your hands and knees to get into the bed. With the ceiling only like 18” from your face. Upon scrutinizing the photo on the website, you can tell it’s near the ceiling but the photo was intentionally taken with a wide-angle lens to make it appear much larger and roomier than it actually is. The room itself is the size of a postage stamp. I would have paid for a larger room had they made it clear what the actual room is. Then when I ask to change rooms, of course they say there is no other room available. And no a/c, and the room is on the ground floor so it requires keeping the windows open with people walking by peering into your room. Nice. And the listing states that you get free coffee, but when I went for the coffee in the breakfast buffet, they made me pay. Oh, the free coffee is instant coffee in your room. Really? They can’t give their guests €0.25 worth of coffee from their automated machine? Ridiculous.
