    Room/Bed was spacious and comfortable. Hallway is small but clean. Great location, very close to stations, central tokyo, tokyo tower, conbini’s, and izakayas. Staff were very accommodating and kind. I was able to store my l luggages even after check out, just inform the front desk staff. Always noticed that it was quite full with a no vacancy sign at front. I do note that there is a flight of stairs going up to the floor, and was tough with heavy luggage but not impossible. Would stay here again if I have the chance to go back to Tokyo.

    This was my first time staying at Hotel Owl in Shinbashi. The overall space is much smaller compared with the one in Nippori. I booked a female-only bed, but was surprised to find that the male and female dorms are on the same floor (the 2nd floor). There isn’t much space inside the dorm room, with only about a 50 cm walkway, so luggage has to be stored near the entrance. Because of this, you may see male guests changing clothes near the luggage storage area, which can feel a little uncomfortable. There are no free drinks provided, although a vending machine is available. On the positive side, the female dorm area was clean and quiet. However, the hotel is located in a relatively noisy area, so you can hear some street noise from outside. Overall, it’s a very affordable option, especially if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to stay in Shinbashi.
