My overall personal experience with this hotel is that it's okay. I'm not that really picky so I find the hotel just fine. What I can say about this hotel is just like the title, "Good for short stay, but with some cons".
Here are some of the cons :
1. Confusing check in time:
At the hotel's door, there is a notice mentioning that check in time starts at 3PM. However, I managed to check in at around 2PM. So I guess you can check in earlier but there's no guarantee.
2. No elevator, just stairs:
Undoubtedly the biggest con in the list. Not to mention that the stairs are kind of steep too. If you have a big luggage, bring a lot of stuffs, or your stuffs are heavy, it can be a bit challenging and tedious. Luckily I got a room at the second floor and my luggage is not very heavy, so my experience with stairs was not very bad.
3. Cleanliness:
The hotel room is not very clean, but in my opinion it's not very bad. In fact, again, in my opinion, the hotel room cleanliness is okay for my standard. But still, it can be an issue for some.
4. Lack of amenities and facilities:
Aside from the absence of an elevator, the room that I stayed also doesn't have a wardrobe or nightstand. It does have a dustbin, a table, a chair , an AC, and a Smart TV, which is okay. But yeah, no wardrobe. There's also no complimentary water bottle(s) nor a drinking station (electric kettle, complimentary beverage tray, etc).
5. Not soundproof
The room that I stayed was not soundproof, however I'm not really someone that mind about it since I'm not that sensitive. But yeah, some people will have a problem with this issue.
Despite all the cons, I do appreciate the safety features of the hotel, where only people with the hotel access card can enter. By the way, if you're a Muslim traveler, there seems to be no halal restaurants nearby the hotel. However, there is a 7-11 just across the hotel. There's also seems no to belaundromat nearby, so be aware.
If you just need a place to crash for transit or a short stay, not that picky about where you stay, and don't care about the cons, you can consider to stay here.
