The staff were all very nice and d hpful as to showing us on map how to get around and where attractions were located and Paella.

the location was convenient with good transport options near by. the hotel offered a comfortable sleep with hot water and clean bathroom facilities.the staff could be more attentive.

this hotel has existed long, in order to allow some employees to act this silly or with prepotence as happened to me through phone. i did my first booking after hearing a girl their grandparents had their honeymoon there, an interesting example on how travelling and distances evolved. however seems some things became recently a 'low cost style' as a positive think for asian market, you can prepare hot water in the lobby and the room was so clean. however, less than 3 days after check out time somebody at morning turn call me (without asking me if i have a minute, to do so) to not listen correctly my answer and call me one hour later (in what seems to me a modus operandi) in order to inform me retroactive charges for leaving a luggage stored 3 days. no matter what my emergency could be (something of course private but elegance would dare a - sorry to hear) no matter i was planing to book again for the night, precisely when i received those morning calls - that may had been an opportunity to proceed with the new booking at a less discounted price. avaritious but at the same incompetent! something fortunatelly i am happy I did not. I recorded one of those short calls and informed our national police of what sound me as an attempt of soft extortion (unless informed to the customer in advance in proper regulation) doubting if i should pursue the denounce first or afterwards. Luckily in the new turn, that entered in place 10 minutes before my arrival from another province, avoided a police unit to come (i would had seek their assistance promptly without doubt) Lucky to hold appropiate technology and experienced in collecting subtle evidence, this would not be the case for the usual tourist, or somebody in rush. in order to be fair, others hotels in Madrid DO CHARGE that storage service, as *** but i am not staying with them, since i am aware of that policy, as i observed charging 2 koreans 40 euro for 2 bags, either for just one hour. * btw Agoda, when my refund of my provisional booking with ***, that i cancelled, will arrive? isn't 35 days for waiting a bit exagerated? on free market, they inform that with due diligence, and wherever payment - for the guest that accepts it - is clearly set in advance. i waste one of my evenings and had to adapt partly my travel plans of weekend for that sudden hurry of reception, and i seriously doubt to be back in Mediodía Hotel again. there had been 2 times, but not a 3rd one.
