Room was fine. At about 11 pm on a Sunday night I had to go down to the garage & get something out of my car-about 1 min. I left my door ajar & when I came back the door was closed for some reason. I didn't have my key card. Went to the front desk & beyond bizarrely the guy said they didn't have a back up key. WTH? I was told the owner or manager would have to come to the hotel to let me & it would take about a 1/2 hr. Insane. So I had to just sit outside my door. Unreal. Further after I left I "might" have left an chromebook tablet in the room. Thru Agoda messaged them TWICE shortly after my departure. Guess what? Crickets. As in staff doesn't even monitor their Agoda messages clearly. After I got back to Mexico where I live I called them & they said it was there. That was all I was asking. I live in Mexico & this is typical-very, very low information society w/often poor communication OR none at all.
