    The hotel was recently taken over by not a 5* hotel by any means but sufficient for our purpose. Situated between the front at Hove and the main road. Ideal for buses and restaurants. No food served at hotel but this wasn’t a problem as good restaurants 5 minutes walk away on main road into Brighton. Good value for money.

    Having read reviews on other websites I entered with trepidation but no need. Chap on reception was very pleasant, said i had been upgraded to a balcony room. IT was huge - bed comfy, bathroom was basic but clean. There's no denying it's a budget hotel - but for a short stay, it's perfect!

    The hotel was old and was dusty. The carpet on the stairs was old and manky defo needs redecorating. The key chain they provided was dirty and sticky so we had to wash it. We read all the negative reviews, it wasn't as bad if you're Not picky. overall it's safe , even if you're a solo woman staying here. We didn't stay much in the hotel only to sleep as we were out during the day.
