Five steps from metro entrance and across the street from Keleti railway station. 10 minutes by metro and you are in Parliament (Kossuth) square. Good breakfast and everything works. Will gladly stay there again

The worst place have ever stayed . Seems it had changed its name as the reviews we so bad. Staff where nice and location good but the room was dirty mattress had seen better days was stained and worn with big dip in it . I was expecting basic but was that and dirty. Bath room had hairs every This is the first bad review i have left in over 25 years .. don’t waste your money . Stay in a hostel or spend a little more . .

I don’t normally do reviews but I do think travellers should know what to expect when they book this place. Before I go into the negatives, the one thing the hotel does do well is location. It’s located in a fairly central part of Budapest and is very well connected to transit. The closest train station is two steps away so it’s super convenient. Now that I’m done listing positives, I shall head to the negatives. First and foremost, the “air conditioning” was subpar to put it kindly. It really only just blows hot air and you’d be better off sitting outside. This is something to be extremely mindful about given the general heatwave situation in Europe. The facilities are dated and not maintained very well. Now while the age of the facility in itself is not an issue, I did find myself wondering about safety given the poor lighting in the lobby and the seemingly lack of security/safeguards to prevent strangers loitering around. I also found that the name of the hotel vs the listing on agoda don’t match so you’d want to be mindful of that. On the overall, one of the worser hotels I’ve stayed in. I don’t find myself to be particularly picky but if I am paying a premium to stay in a hotel as opposed to a hotel, I would expect the facilities to be maintained and operational at the very least. Thanks!
