    Strategically located in a side street off the main square and tram stop, Upper and Lower towns accessible. Walk every where. Loads of restaurants, cafes and bakeries Room had all the facilities, breakfast was good. Choose a room away from the street as some bars might have music until about 11pm

    I chose this hotel due to its central location. It was clean, a bit outdated, but did the job. I was excited to have a room facing the square, however I didn’t realise how loud the noise would carry from the square at all hours of the night. I happened to be there during the marathon which also meant an early start as the speakers in the square were blaring. This is not necessarily the hotels fault, however being on the second floor and with windows that did not hide the noise I barely got any sleep at this hotel.

    We came to the hotel tired after long trip. Check in receptionist was unfriendly without any smile or proper greetings. Old furniture in the room and torn curtains. Cleaning staff were ready bad and did not clean the room well. Breakfast was not enough and by 9:30 am everything was gone and the staff were unfriendly at all and it shows. Over all the hotel staff need training in how to treat and deal with hotel guests. One person showed a lot of efforts to help his name Thomas in the front desk.
