8.4 / 10Excellent·Feb 2026

I recently stayed at a hotel in Munich and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location was extremely convenient — just a short walk from the main train station and metro, and close to the main shopping area, which made getting around the city very easy. The room itself was spacious and very clean, with plenty of room to relax after a long day of sightseeing. One thing to note is that it can be a little noisy at night since the hotel is located near a theatre, but it wasn’t a major issue for me. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for comfort and convenience in a central location.

The hotel is a short walks from the main train station. The hotel is located next if not inside the theatre which makes it more likely. Well informative staff provided all details we need and some recommendations for nice restaurants and places. No breakfast no worries.. all you can have tea and tasteful coffee from 7-11 am. Recommended..

Perfect location, walking distance to Marienplatz ... we were told at check that sadly, they've lost their lease and are closing at the end of the year. ☹️ There's another Deutsches Theater Hotel (actually there are 4 of them), but the one right around the corner - located at Schwanthalerstrasse 15 80339 München - is just as nice!!
