The hotel is great, remodeled, great staff who will carry your luggage upstrairs, and an easy walk to the Chateau de Versailles. But, there is no air conditioning. A lot of year this will not be a problem. They are in the north of France. But, I would be concerned in the peak of summer and France does have heat waves in the summer. Do some research on how hot it gets, if you are traveling in certain months.
Also, on the good side. It's easy to go into Paris for the day from here. If you catch the no-stop train to Gare de Montparnasse from the Gare Chantier Versailles, there are two stations in Versailles. Then you can travel to Paris in 13 minutes. Use the SNCF app (national railroad of France) and check which train is fastest and you can book and get your tickets. They are also super cheap.
If you can't climb stairs, make absolutely sure, that you reservation is for a grand floor room. There is one step up into the hotel. We love these old buildings, but they can't work miracles.

We only stay for one night to visit the Versailles. We were arriving early from Paris around noon. Our family room was ready to check in, so glad.
All staff were helpful and nice. The room on the first floor was perfect sizes for 2 adults and kids under 10. Would like to stay longer next time.

Warm, comfortable and safe. Very quiet too and just a few minutes from the Palace. Very friendly welcome. It's not got lots of facilities but it's not that kind of hotel. Eating and supermarket options close by. Everything was as it should be. Just one quirk: the bathroom in our room had no door. It was round the corner from the bedroom so not really an issue. But odd nonetheless.
