This place is perfect if you don’t have a car. I felt sorry for the fellow visitors I met in Taormina who were fighting the parking crush in the little town. Hotel Condor is a short walk down an easy hill onto Taormina’s main shopping streets. The price was one of the best we found — and we booked just a couple weeks before departure. The place is cute and quirky, and we even had an ocean view. We looked across a flat rooftop, but it was still pretty great. There was even a tiny balcony. The room was quiet, and the road is narrow, so you don’t hear traffic. Staff is delightful, everything is So clean, and the beds made each day— I never encounter that in the IS anymore. I think oir sheets were changed the 3rd day? Tip the cleaning crew well on your way out, they deserve it.

We had a room with two shower rooms and a balcony, refrigirator and with included breakfast.
Room was really nice and spacious, balcony smaller but still good and breakfast was really great!
Some staff members at the reception were a bit uninterested to help but did their job in the end.
We have used the hotel parking option (18€ per day). It is a bit high on price and they returned a really dirty car with explanation that it was parked under the tree (but the car had white stains all over…).
Still, our stay in this hotel was reall good and I would return here again.

The location is very good and convenient, but unfortunately the hotel is in urgent need of renovation and maintenance.
The hot water takes several minutes to come through, which is quite inconvenient. The mattress and pillows are also very uncomfortable and caused significant back and neck pain during my stay. On top of that, the air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep properly.
The location is definitely a strong point, but the overall condition and comfort of the rooms need significant improvement. I hope the hotel invests in renovations and upgrades soon.
