    I have stayed few nights in Charu Palace hotel. It is 20 min walk from the city center but worth a lot if you are looking for astonishing views, relaxed atmosphere, great food and hospitable owners. The bed is huge and comfy, the room itself is spacious and with extra living area, the shower is hot and powerful. The managers are helpful as well as the rest of staff. The food is delicious. Try dahi, local curd, something similar to Greek yoghurt, and of course masala chai
