Stayed here with friends and had a really positive experience. The hotel offers excellent value, especially with a good breakfast included.
Staff were friendly, everything was clean, and the location is ideal—just minutes from transport, restaurants, shops, and the promenade.

A standard double with fridge, kettle , bath tub and tv etc. Very reasonably priced. The room was large with nice stylish furniture plenty of space for 2 people. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of food. I would definitely stay here again.

I had seen the reviews of this hotel after booking it but we were walking the Gozo coastal path and this was right on the route so went with it. We also got it at a discounted price. First off I will say the good bits. The foyer downstairs is nice, they let us check in early, they allowed us to store our bag and kept it safe and there was WiFi.
Now the rest- the breakfast is easily the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had. I saw the list of who was staying in the hotel ( as nobody greated us for breakfast) there was 8 couples staying in the whole hotel. We got to breakfast at 7:20, it started at 7 and the food was like it had been sat ready for ages or recycled from another day. Even the fruit was bad. The cups had chips and cracks in them and were stained. We did get a nice view though of the bay.
There was a mix up with our room and the hotel wouldn't give us the sea view we had paid for and were demanding extra money. It wasn't their fault it but they were unwilling to help us and told us to contact Agoda which then took hours and they were unable to sort. When I saw the next day only 8 couples were staying I can't understand why they wouldn't place us in one of those rooms anyway.
The room itself was pretty clean but was a bit tired. The curtains were very dirty and had holes in them. The air con made noises all night and we couldn't get it to work to cool the room so it was very hot. There was a fridge but it had rusting shelves inside. It felt like the hotel owner had given up a bit and if it is like this in March it will be the same in summer. The room was really big though.
The pool would have been too cold for us to use but it was empty and closed for maintenance. We were never told of this when checking in or booking our stay which we booked a week before.
There were signs inside for Jet 2. If you are booking a jet 2 holiday here unless you get a really really good deal don't bother and even then make other plans for your breakfast and realise that this is more like a 2 star hotel than a 4 star. I feel like the hotel has such potential and it is a shame. Improve the breakfast, communication with customers, maybe offer a free welcome drink and when you have very few guests staying help them sort out problems with their room or just upgrade anyway!
Location wise it is good though. That can't be faulted at all.
