    I loved the deco in the hotel and the beautiful gardens! The room was spacious , comfortable and clean! Will come back to this hotel on my next trip to beautiful Montreal!

    Paid for 2 nights through booking.com, but at checkout they charged me again for one of the nights. The receptionist told me initially that the initial charge didn't;t go through (even though I showed her the payment conformation email and the bank records showing the 2 nights were paid). Then the manager came and changed the story, said that there had only one night been reserved and paid in his system, even though I was showing him clearly the 2-night confirmation nd payment. very nasty, told me to calm down even though they did not seem to get their stories straight as to why I was double-charged for one night. In the end he agreed to refund the night but put it as if he's giving up on arguing with me and as if he was doing me a favour. Interesting to note that while I was waiting, I've heard the raceptionist tell the previous couple and the one they served after a similar story: that the client's cards didn't;t go through and that they had to recharge. it's definitely strange that for three clients in a row they made the same "card didn't go through" claim.
