    The Beach Classic 'hotel' Dahanu is absolutely not recommended. I stayed here for about 40 hours in the top 'Luxury Suite' accommodation. Some of the issues: 1. the room and bathroom were very basic. I was charged a rate of Rs. 4650 per night plus taxes by Agoda for the room that was available for Rs. 3500 at the hotel. Anyway, the room was not even worth Rs. 2000 per night 2. The TV did not work for the 2 days I was there, since the set-top box subscription had not been paid, and was not paid by the hotel, in spite of repeated reminders 3. I had to carry a plastic chair from the restaurant up to my room, since there was no chair there 4. the only way to bathe was by stepping up and into a jacuzzi-style bathtub that had a broken floor. The used bath-water that collected in the 'shower area' did not drain for the two days that I was there. 5. From 11:30 p.m. to about 7:30 a.m. the only person available in the hotel is a watchman whose job is to open the main gate if you want to go out. 6. The service was lackadaisical and un-professional 7. The rooms are awkward to get to and involve a number of flights of stairs that go up and then down and then up again. These often have to be negotiated carrying your own luggage In summary...don't stay here!!

    I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel mainly because of the manager’s rude and disrespectful behavior. The staff members were actually polite and cooperative, but the manager’s attitude completely ruined the overall experience. Instead of helping guests professionally, he spoke in an arrogant and impatient manner whenever we asked simple questions or requested assistance. One of the biggest issues was regarding the WiFi. The hotel website clearly mentions free WiFi in the room facilities, but there was no WiFi available in our room at all. When we politely asked the manager about it, instead of resolving the issue, he started arguing with us badly and said that the free WiFi is only available in the restaurant area, and that’s why they mention it under room facilities. This felt very misleading and unprofessional. Another issue was that there was a landline phone placed in the room, but it was not even connected to anything. Because of this, every time we needed something or wanted to contact the reception, we had to come out of the room and go downstairs ourselves, which was very inconvenient. The staff service was good, but because of the manager’s behavior and poor attitude, the stay became very uncomfortable. Hospitality and respectful communication are extremely important in the hotel industry, and unfortunately the management failed badly in that aspect. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting respectful management, proper facilities, and honest customer service.
