Beautiful facilities, very modern and cleanly yet cozy. Everything is decentralized meaning you have to walk between buildings and the pool. A little bit of a dare during winter time but all the jacuzzis are definitely the highlight. On prem restaurant is overpriced. On prem cafe (Milk House) is lovely.

From the moment we arrived, our experience at Homestead Resort was disappointing. Massive construction is underway, which is not disclosed to the level in which it should be. Parking was in a gravel lot full of potholes, and we had to drag our luggage through it just to reach our room. When I first entered the room, I immediately noticed trash and hair on the outdoor mat, along with dirt at the entryway. Inside, the room itself was in poor condition—clearly worn and beat up, with heavily used furnishings and scuffed walls. I went to the front desk and requested a different room, which they did accommodate. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. Housekeeping is by request only. On the second day, I requested room service and trash removal. When I returned later that day, nothing had been done. I texted the service line requesting towels and trash removal. An engineering staff member arrived with towels and handed me trash bags so I could take care of the trash myself. The following morning, I went to the front desk to explain that we were completely out of shampoo, conditioner, and soap, and that the room had still not been serviced despite requests. Shockingly, when I returned that evening, the room had again not been cleaned or restocked. When I expressed my frustration at the front desk, I was told they were extremely short staffed. I asked for basic toiletries and was told none were available because they were stored at another facility. I was also told that management was having to clean rooms themselves due to staffing shortages. I was stunned that a resort would continue to take bookings without disclosing these major service issues at check-in. To make matters worse, the food at The Milk House was awful. My kids would barely eat it, and we ordered a majority of the menu trying to find something acceptable. This was hands down one of the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had at a resort of this quality. Until renovations are complete and basic services can be reliably provided, I strongly recommend saving your money and staying elsewhere. I requested a partial refund and it was approved which I do appreciate. This place will be great when renovations are complete and their staff is restored but until then travelers BEWARE!
