    We stayed in a king room in the main building, 2nd floor. Clean and nicely decorated room that was relatively updated. Two exceptions...the window to the balcony and the shower door. Both needed some tough love, very hazy with water stains. Looked dirty but I used a wipe on it and it was perfectly clean (as was the rest of the room and bathroom). The balcony door had no latch and could not be opened but was drafty. They said "standard" rooms don't get balconies. If you want to be elitist about allowing people who got deals to have a balcony, then let them be open but don't put chairs out there. Or install regular windows. Ridiculous! (And, isn't that a fire hazard??) The walls are also thin, so you can hear your neighbor's TV if it's up high or a deep sleeper as they snore. Other than that, lovely stay - great staff! They are short-handed in the summer so please be patient. It's great for families or for a getaway for a couple of days. Great resort feel, with a poolside bar and a lot of umbrella spots. The casino is meh. For a 3 day stay, it is a nice getaway.

    The hotel needs renovated and updated badly We have been staying here for years and it has not been renovated. Hallway carpet is very worn and dirty, furniture in room is very worn and outdated. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls, etc. Large dogs are now allowed. This property looks the same as it did when it opened - way past time for renovation. Rates are too high for the condition of the hotel. it's a 2 star at best.
