    I liked Hilton Garden Inn. I stayed overnight on a winter. I loved the bed, it is so comfy and soft. I was so tired and had jet-lag but I slept the night very comfortable in their bed. I so loved it and had a rest. I loved the room cause it was clean.

    I recently stayed at this hotel during a trip to Washington, DC. Overall, it’s a mixed experience with a few conveniences but several disappointments that are worth noting. The location is reasonably convenient, especially if you need access to the airport—the hotel offers a shuttle service, though you do need to contact them in advance to arrange it. It’s also within walking distance of the metro, which makes getting into the city fairly easy. That said, communication could be improved. I found the website’s online chat slow to respond, which was frustrating when trying to get quick answers. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was the breakfast option included in my booking. However, the breakfast quality did not meet expectations, especially considering it’s priced at $22 USD. The offerings were quite basic—similar to what you might find at a budget chain like Comfort Inn or Quality Inn—with items like hash browns, sausage, occasional bacon, fruit, and bread. Coffee is not self-serve, and staff refill it for you, which felt unnecessary and seemed geared toward encouraging tips. Another downside is the lack of basic amenities I would expect from a Hilton property. There’s no 24/7 coffee or hot water available in the lobby, which is usually standard at many hotels in this category. As for the room, I booked a “deluxe” option, but the difference appears to be just a slightly larger space. The bathroom was quite small and felt outdated. The showerhead and bathtub could use replacement, and overall, the condition didn’t align with what I would expect from the Hilton brand at this price point. In hindsight, I feel that for the price paid—especially in a city like DC—I could have found a better option. While the location and metro access are definite positives, the overall value and quality fall short of expectations.
