I had a really great stay at Portland Northwest Hostel in Portland, OR. The place has a very cool and unique atmosphere that truly stands out. Everything is extremely clean and well-organized, which made the stay very comfortable.
What I really liked the most was the variety of activities available. It gave me a strong feeling of the authentic American hostel lifestyle, which made the experience even more memorable. The surrounding area is also very nice — safe, lively, and convenient to explore.
For me, this is definitely one of the best places to stay in the United States. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a stylish, clean, and fun place to stay in Portland.

Staff is very supportive and place is clean and accommodating.
Separate kitchen for the tenants to prepare their own food is in very good condition.

I booked this property for my son and daughter in-law while they are looking for permanent housing in Portland. Because they have been in Portland for a few months and wanted to make that their home, they got a temporary postal address and Oregon IDs, even though they're from Idaho. I helped them check in and explained to the front desk my son's situation, and they were able to stay. Everything was great until the owner showed up a few days into their stay. The owner made them leave, in the rain, with only their skooters for transportation and no lodging reservations anywhere else, just because they had Oregon IDs. My son and daughter in-law scrambled to move their luggage in the rain to a storage unit. It was that evening that my son called and told me what had happened, after they had finished storing their things. They were taking shelter at the bus stop, not knowing where to go. I was able to help them get other lodging.
What kind of person does this to anyone. The owner must be a person without any ability for kindness or compassion; a person without a heart.
I was so impressed by the property before. Me and my other children and their families had planned to stay there when we visit Portland in the future, but no more. Who would want to with the "evil" that shrouds it.
