Only pro of the hotel is the location. You can get all over the island within an hour. However it certainly doesn’t hit 4 star standards, more of a 2/3.
On check in, we were given no information about the facilities or the room. Guests are made to take their own luggage to the rooms which can be a bit of a walk. I saw parents struggling with prams, kids and luggage - no help offered by staff.
The rooms are incredibly basic and require updating and a deep clean. Bathtub has an old musty shower curtain and bidet is literally almost touching the tub. Unhygienic. They do not offer any complimentary shower gel but have a random shampoo instead?
The breakfast is basic. Food is uncovered and flies are all over it. Staff aren’t entirely attentive.
You have to pay to use the room safe - something we were not informed of. I don’t quite understand a daily rate for the safe - surely you’d need it throughout the stay?
The hotel grounds are home to multiple chickens. Very cute but that comes with chicken poo everywhere. No attempt to clean it up. The greenery is also looking tired, nobody seems to upkeep the premises other than the main lounge area.
All in all, fine for location and very close to Son Bou beach. Nothing else really great about the place
