A charming hotel that offers a touch of luxury and tranquility, just a short stroll from the Old Town. Our room was stylish and comfortable. The staff were friendly and gave excellent advice on day trips and local attractions.
Unfortunately, our experience was let down by the evening receptionist, Mirna. She was unapproachable and dismissive when we raised a concern about a loud and ongoing noise coming from our air-conditioning unit (it was enough to keep me awake at night). She neither apologised nor made any effort to have it looked at, stating “that’s how air conditioning run here, and if it’s too noisy for us then we should turn it off”. Her attitude was disappointing.
