    We were travelling with toddlers and booked a room with balcony that was overlooking the street. The hotel is in prime location and walking distance to weekend night market and train street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast buffet was delicious and you can also order ala carte breakfast as well. Will book this hotel again if we are travelling back to Hanoi.

    This hotel is located at a really good location, 5 mins walking distance to St. Joseph Church and also some famous food spot like Pho 10 and Banh Mi mama.

    I chose this hotel because of its great location, but honestly, I was very disappointed. I really don’t understand how this hotel is rated as a 4-star hotel. First of all, communication with the staff was difficult because their English was very limited. The bathroom also had a sewage smell throughout our entire four-night stay. When I asked about it, I was told that this was a problem in all the rooms, so there was no point in asking to change rooms. Later, things got even worse. Dirty, sewage-like water started coming out of the bathroom, as you can see in the photos. I reported the problem, but instead of properly addressing it, they seemed to do a quick repair and left. The problem was still not properly resolved, so I had to contact them again. What disappointed me even more was that there was no proper apology or explanation until I made a complaint. Another thing that really surprised me was seeing the front desk staff turn off the lights and watch a movie during the evening. It honestly didn’t feel like a professional hotel environment. I was also very disappointed with the attitude of a staff member named KAY. There was, however, one staff member I would like to compliment. Trang, who works at the buffet, was very friendly and made our dining experience much more pleasant. I really appreciated her service. After checking out, I left my luggage at the hotel and came back later to pick it up. A staff member told me to follow them, and when I asked why, I was told that I should take my own luggage myself. I found this very disappointing and not what I would expect from a 4-star hotel. I’m not writing this review because of any personal feelings toward the hotel or its staff. I’m simply sharing what I personally experienced during my four-night stay. I hope other travelers can avoid having the same experience. If you are considering staying here, I strongly recommend reading recent reviews carefully before making your decision.
