Gyeongsan Venice

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Gyeongsan to golf with friends. For ***, it's hard to complain. It's a standard Korean love motel, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. One thing that was confusing is the name. Agoda lists it as Gyeongsan Venice Hotel, but the sign outside says ***, some signs inside say ***, and Naver/Kakao Maps call it ***. I had to double-check that I was at the right place. The room was spacious with a comfortable king-size bed, clean pillows, a sofa, desk, and a huge bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower area, sink, and toilet. They also provided four bottles of water, instant coffee, and a basic amenities kit. The sofa had a small tear, but nothing that affected the stay. Wi-Fi was surprisingly solid at around 80 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload, which was more than enough for streaming and work. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. She immediately agreed to a noon checkout without any hesitation and was happy to hold my room key while I went out at night. I came back around 3:00 AM and had to knock on her private door because she was asleep, but she still greeted me politely and handed me the key without any attitude. Parking is plentiful, including underground spaces, and there's one elevator serving the building. Microwaves are available on every other floor, and there's a GS25 convenience store right next door. One thing to note: this is a smoking motel, or at least my room was. I smoke, so it didn't bother me, but non-smokers may want to ask if non-smoking rooms are available. Overall, if you're looking for a simple, clean, and incredibly affordable place to stay, this is an excellent value. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm back in Gyeongsan.
