I really enjoyed my stay at Gurukripa Heritage, I'd definitely stay there again.
My room upstairs was spacious & comfortable, and had beautiful heritage feature such as wooden windows & doors - really lovely. My window looked out over a ledge of potted bougainvilleas outside.
I also used a smaller room to rest in before my late night train, and although it wasn't as charming as my room upstairs, it had its own verandah which was nice to sit outside on in the evening.
The hotel is fantastically located, just a few minutes walk from the Sree Vadakkumnathan Temple, and other temples are within walking distance too. Autos are very easy to get nearby.
There are 2 great veg south Indian restaurants just outside the hotel, so eating is very easy.
The 2 men who were at the front desk when I was there were both very friendly, helpful & professional, and the other staff were nice too.
Overall, I think this is a really nice, quiet, heritage-style hotel that's really quite charming & very reasonably priced - highly recommend.
