    Grande Centre Point Terminal 21 has been my go-to hotel in Bangkok for years. I’ve stayed here many times and probably spend a total of around 20 nights a year at this hotel. The fact that I continue coming back probably says more than anything else. The location is one of the biggest advantages. The hotel is directly connected to Terminal 21, giving you immediate access to a huge selection of restaurants, shops, coffee, and the food court without even needing to go outside. There are also many excellent restaurants within walking distance, including El Gaucho Argentinian Steakhouse. Transportation couldn’t be much more convenient. Both the Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT stations are only a very short walk away, making it extremely easy to get around Bangkok without relying on taxis or sitting in traffic. The rooms are comfortable, clean, functional, and well designed. Depending on the room type, some include a washing machine and dryer, which is extremely convenient for longer stays. I particularly like the walk-in showers, optional bathtub, and automatic window coverings. The rooms are also well stocked with complimentary water and snacks. The staff has consistently been professional and helpful throughout my many stays, and the hotel and common areas are always well maintained. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Bangkok, but the combination of location, comfortable rooms, transportation access, shopping, dining, and consistently good service keeps bringing me back here. After years of staying at Grande Centre Point Terminal 21, it remains my first choice whenever I’m in Bangkok. Definitely a five-star experience for me and a hotel I highly recommend.

    We have stayed at this hotel approximately eight or nine times, but unfortunately this will be our last visit. On this occasion, we paid the higher price for a Superior Deluxe room but were initially placed in a cheaper room without the additional facilities included in the category we had booked, such as the washing machine, ice maker and hob. When we contacted reception, we were asked whether we had specifically requested a washing machine. We had not—because we had booked and paid for a Superior Deluxe room, in which these facilities are standard. It was only because we know the hotel and its room categories so well that we immediately realised we had not been given what we had paid for. A first-time guest might easily have been none the wiser. Whether this was a deliberate attempt to downgrade us or simply extremely poor room allocation, it has seriously undermined our trust in the hotel. Guests should not have to inspect their room carefully to ensure they have received the category they paid for. Despite staying here so many times, there is never any recognition that we are returning guests—not even a simple “welcome back.” We are instead given the same generic explanation of where the restaurant and swimming pool are, as though we have never visited before. We have returned repeatedly because we genuinely liked this hotel, but there are far too many excellent hotels in Thailand for loyal guests to be treated this way. We will not be returning.
