Hotel is on the other side of the island, nothing is at walking distance.
The pool area almost 80% chars are reserved only where you need to oh for a chair. They have a few chairs for guest at no cost far from the pool or in a corner. You want to go in to the adult pool it’s ditional cost. Everything is an upchahere not felt as if it’s included with the resort. Pretty disappointing being how much we paid to stay here. If you get food from one pool restaurant you can’t take it to another one where your husband wants to eat from you can only eat it t the place you purchase it from. Staff is extremely rude and in way hate that your even there. We didn’t feel welcomed at all and is if we te a bothered to them. The room was on bed was not comfortable and the pillow very small. We won’t be coming again and not recommended at all. The foods prices are absolutely overpriced and quality is horrible.

We had a really great time at the Grsnd Hyatt Baha Mar. There is so much to do. The kids loved the water park and Deans Blue hole pool. The hotel is expensive the food and drink I think is a little overpriced.
Also one minor thing is the rooms are not made up every day which is quite inconvenient when travelling with young children but other than that It was great and would highly recommend

I've stayed here many times and it's great for kids. The water park is great, the complex is well laid out and there are plenty of options for dining and activities. That being said, the majority of the staff at the complex are at best disinterested and at worst, plain rude. We also had a very bad accident where one of the children in our party got pulled into a malfunctioning escalator, ripping off her toe nails and sending her to the emergency room with what we thought were two broken feet. We heard from staff that we were the third accident on that escalator that week but the hotel took zero responsibility and didn't even comp the medical treatment. Everything is obscenely priced (almost insultingly so) and the hotel added charges to everyones room that were bogus and we're all fighting now.
So, if you want somewhere fun for the kids with great dining options and you don't mind overpaying for the convenience, then this is your hotel. Be sure to take the stairs though.
