    Most of the facilities and water sports discontinued and the beach front only 10% was fixed the rest is still damaged …false advertisement from the website when they said everything is operational …only the room and the lagoon is still intact ../ food choice very limited

    We truly loved our stay here! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by the kind, friendly, and hospitable staff. Although some parts of the beach were damaged by the earthquake and typhoons, it did not take away from the beauty and relaxing atmosphere of the place. The property is huge, so it never felt crowded, giving us plenty of space to simply slow down, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was such a calming and refreshing stay, and we would definitely love to come back someday!

    Very Disappointing Stay — Not Worth the Price Honestly, I’m very disappointed with our recent stay at Golden Sands. We travelled around 4 hours just to get there, so we were really expecting the experience to be worth the time and money. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. I completely understand that the property was badly affected by the typhoon and earthquake last year, and I sympathize with the challenges they faced. However, considering the current condition of the facilities, I don’t think the pricing should have been increased or assessed at this level. The experience simply does not justify the price. Before, Golden Sands had two pools, and one of the things we really enjoyed was having a restaurant by the pool where we could order cocktails and enjoy happy hour. This time, there were already so many changes, and unfortunately, the overall experience was a huge downgrade. The food was another major disappointment. The taste was not good, and for the prices they charge, we expected much better quality. The chopsuey was VERY salty — almost impossible to eat. The sisig was watery, honestly more like paksiw than sisig. 😂 And the crispy pata was the biggest disappointment. It was expensive, but the serving looked more like a leftover dog-food bone than something worth the price. And ₱600 for one jar of iced tea?! My God. 😩 That price is just unbelievable. Even the so-called happy hour didn’t really feel like a happy hour. For us, the biggest issue is the value for money. We travelled four hours expecting a relaxing and enjoyable stay, but considering the facilities, food quality, and prices, we honestly felt that it was not worth the travel and definitely not worth the price. The only thing that made the trip enjoyable was the company we were with. ❤️ I hope Golden Sands takes this feedback seriously and considers improving both the facilities and, most importantly, the quality and pricing of the food and services. The place has potential, but at the current price point, customers deserve much better.
