    An unexpected pleasure awaits you in Trang. The Gin Gin boutique hotel is centrally located close to shops, restaurants, bars and night markets. We especially loved enjoying our morning coffee from our balcony watching the morning market activity below. Be sure to to take advantage of its Chinese culture and enjoy some dim sum and Chinese cuisine. We ended each evening at a local craft bar with a musician performing mellow music. The hotel itself is nicely decorated and smartly equipped with everything you need to have a luxurious stay. Breakfast was served at their cute cafe and was excellent with several options to select from. The staff was the friendliest and most accommodating that we have encountered in all of Thailand. We originally booked for two nights but expanded it to three after we realized the Gin Gin and Trang was a great place to just relax and soak up the local culture.

    This is truly a one of a kind hotel located in the charming old town district, surrounded by historic buildings and a vibrant local market that creates an atmosphere full of character and nostalgia. One of our favorite parts of the stay was spending the mornings in the café, sipping excellent coffee while watching the market come to life outside the window. The hotel offers five unique specialty breakfast sets, and enjoying breakfast while overlooking the morning market was an experience unlike any other. The owners and entire staff were exceptional. TingTing, Wing, Mook, Wan, Kat, and everyone else we interacted with were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Our corner room was beautifully designed and appeared to have been recently remodeled. It featured smart lighting and air conditioning controls that could be operated right from the bed, a beautiful bathroom, and a spacious balcony overlooking the street below. We loved the room layout, the modern design, the hotel branding, and the stylish café atmosphere. The contrast between the sleek, contemporary interior and the historic old town surroundings created a unique blend of old and new. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and the bed was very comfortable. We did have an issue with the hot water not being quite hot enough initially, but the staff immediately adjusted the water heater and resolved the problem. There were only a few minor drawbacks. Parking is not especially convenient, and because of the market below, it can get a bit noisy early in the morning as vendors begin setting up around 5:00 AM. The only thing really missing is a fitness center. Had there been a gym, this would easily have been a five star experience for us. Overall, this is a memorable boutique hotel with tremendous personality, wonderful staff, great food, and an atmosphere that you simply won’t find at a typical chain hotel. We would gladly stay here again.

    I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed, which made the whole experience feel very smooth and comfortable. The room was new, clean, and well-maintained, giving a fresh and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. I also really enjoyed the breakfast — there was a good variety of options, and everything tasted delicious. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions. However, if you prefer a quiet environment, I would recommend avoiding rooms facing the main road, as it can be a bit noisy at times. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

    The hotel is beautiful, impeccably clean, and offers excellent amenities—the soap, in particular, smells absolutely wonderful. Most importantly, it’s perfectly located in the heart of the city. Step outside, and you’ll find yourself immersed in one of the most vibrant and fascinating local markets. I truly loved every moment of my stay.
