The Foxhall property is beautiful! The pros: The food at Pheasant Blue was really good. The lake views, swimming pools, trails & included activities are great amenities. The resort is extremely quiet. Like, EXTREMELY quiet.... The villa included a large fridge & microwave and really spacious. Great for solo travelers or families and well decorated with incredible views of the lake. The cons: The bathroom could have been cleaner. There were cobwebs and a tons of dust in the bathrooms and stains on the walls. The restaurant doesn't open until 5pm & is closed on Sunday. There's absolutely NOTHING close by so bring snacks & food. The staff was friendly but not very accommodating. There were issues with my reservation & they made no attempt to resolve it. They seemed to have a bias against reservations booked with a 3rd party & the discounted rate I received was brought up multiple times. Overall, I had a relaxing time & fully recharged.
