    If you want to stay as close as possible to nature this is the place to stay. We loved being able to go an explore at dawn and dusk when animals were most active. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food is slightly more expensive, but you are in the forest!

    You are paying for convenience of the property being already inside of the National Park. There is large deck overlooking the river with plenty of birds. There is some deferred maintenance. The staff is great!

    If you love remote locations and are up for rustic accommodations (which we are), this place is for you! If you like fancier hotels with lots of amenities, pick another spot. We loved the national park location, the rooms were clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us organize a weekend of tours and sightseeing in the park. We’ll be back!     FFL is rather dilapidated but is in a great location. The guide James was incredibly knowledgeable and advised us to stay a night at the lake cabin with the rangers, allowing us to see a most incredible sunset. The FFL staff are very willing and helpful. There is very little useful information around the place regarding the fauna and flora of Cát Tiên. Getting the right advice from James about what to do turned a potentially uninteresting trip into a valuable one. With some refresh, this lodge could be very good.
