Great stay, hot shower with good pressure, comfy beds and tasty food. I love the brick style houses with wooden fixtures in the toilet, very pleasing to the eye. They serve lunch and dinner but needs to be ordered an hour in advance. The area is surrounded by nature so naturally insects can get in the room. The 2 dogs were super fun to play with, one young and active and the other was the chillest dog ever.
I booked around late evening and when I reached around 8pm, the gate was locked and nobody answered. Luckily, the owner of another homestay that recommended me this place helped to contact otherwise wouldn't be able to enter. It might be best to book before 5-6pm when staff are preparing to go home, only 1 security staff stays at the place.
I loved it so much I ended up staying an extra night, you can extend with them directly asking for the price on app rather than giving the commission to the booking apps. Oops.

Ban ngày đi làm việc, tối chui vào cái homestay giữa rừng quốc gia ở để chữa lành. Nghe tiếng dế kêu, ngắm sao trời, sáng dậy sớm ngắm hoàng hôn trong rừng… kể cũng chill lắm.

The stay is in a really pretty location right on the riverside, and only a short walk to the nam cat tien forest.
The forest is beautiful, and I would really reccomend to any travellers looking for a relaxing break and clean air. I saw many animals during the two days I was here, and also enjoyed the night safari.
The staff at the hostel (jeng and nung) were incredibly kind, with very tasty breakfasts and also helping sort transport to ho chi minh which is a lot of hassle for 250k.
The room was large and clean with comfy beds, air conditioning and a fan, and very well priced.
Nam cat tien as a whole provides important conservation work and I was shown a lot of kindness by the people here, would definitely reccomend to anyone travelling this way
