    Even if it is £35 per night, it’s not worth. The water was scorching hot and we couldn’t have a shower. And of course, not as in the pictures. They have pictures of Montcalm Brewery Hotel and these are independent rooms 6 minutes walk away from it.

    It is not as in the pictures. There is confusion with the Montcalm Brewery Hotel. It was impossible to shower as the water was scorching hot. Not good at all. Even for £30 per night, it's not worth it.

    Its real name is Montcalm Brewery Townhouse. It takes about 8 minutes to walk from Moorgate station or Barbican station. I booked a deluxe single room. The bathroom (which had a bathtub and a choice of hand-held or fixed shower), was perfectly separated from the bedroom and the room was spacious. There was a large enough TV and plenty of animatronics. One difficulty was that I had trouble finding the reception. It was in a different building from the rooms and took a while to find. But everything was perfect for me!!

    The place I thought i was booking isn’t the place i ended up staying! I ended up at some random place a few streets away in what felt like a bedsit. The bed looked like it had just been made after the last person slept in it, as there were hairs in it, and I could hear everything from the room next door. I became really worried when I arrived there and realised it wasn’t the same address as the hotel I actually booked and had the worst night sleep as I thought I’d been scammed 😩
