I have stayed in hostels worldwide, and this is by far the worst. The staff is extremely rude and aggressive. Room 207 was filled with garbage, stains and a foul odor. When I requested a change, the front desk threatened to "blacklist" my ID. They then moved me to Room 206, which was in even worse condition. I chose to leave immediately rather than risk my health. Even if it’s the cheapest option, your safety and sanity are worth more. Avoid at all costs.

The staff were genuinely helpful. Unfortunately and understandably, there were constraints to what could be done given the budget (eg. the toilets/showers on my floor were broken which meant everyone had to share the 2 available; ventilation in the building isn't great, etc.).
It is located downtown, but I wouldn't recommend the neighbourhood for solo female travellers.
