    We saw the photos of the grounds of El Convento, and decided it was the most historic and inviting experience among the different accomodations. We stayed for two nights in May and while the city was hot, the grounds of El Convento were so shaded and cool. We loved the historic aspect that they had redone the convent into hotel lodgings. The room was incredibly inviting and comfortable. Yes it is pricey and you're paying top dollar among Antigua hotels, but it was just so perfect from the grounds to the helpful staff. We loved it.

    If you can arrived to stay here - do! It’s superb: wonderful decor, very tastefully and elegantly decorated and a very special experience in a beautiful town
