This was an interesting stay, to say the least. There were three floors of rooms with kitchens & sets of four toilets on each, and showers on floors 2 & 4 (no private shower in the room as Agoda suggested). It seemed as though floor 2 was long-term guests - it always seemed busy in the kitchen/shared area. All the signage was in Russian. Lots of windows and very bright in bedroom and kitchen. Our Bolt driver had trouble finding it in the dark (but the signs were clear in daylight). Note that there are two EHE Hostels on Google maps - this hostel is NOT next to the ferry terminal.

Checkin was complicated as no one there at the hostel reception and when I called cleaning lady answered and helped with checkin. She didn't speak English, however somehow check-in was done, although she seemed to not like the idea to use toilet in reception area and I had to remind her that I was the guest and I need to use urgently. After that it was all smooth, bathroom showers are not the best but does the job for couple of baths. Kitchen present with few things which is a bonus.
