The carpets are heavily stained pretty much everywhere - rooms, passages and dining hall. The mattress was really old and soft. The shower is so small that the shower curtain sticks to your body, and if you leave the curtain open, the floor gets wet. There’s not a single amenity in the room - no crockery (if you want to buy your own meals), phone or decor. The walls have chipped paint. The room aircon was not working. The breakfast was decent and good.

The hotel overlooks Keleti Station, so you may be disturbed by the noise from cars, especially in summer, as the hotel does not have air conditioning and you have to keep the window open. Everything else is fine — the food, the staff, and the comfort of the beds.
