Interesting hotel concept, good for dogs, and staff were very welcoming. Not overly fancy, but that is expected.

The hotel is cute and has a very eclectic look and feel. The beer fridge in the bathroom was so cute and funny. The room was very spacious and had a nice industrial feel. Pups are welcomed to stay at the hotel which is fine. However, you would think the cleanliness would be top tier. Not quite. There was pet hair all over the bed and the floors are so dusty with a mix of pet hair, dander, and whatever else. Like, yes, I get a little pet hair is going to be floating around. But it’s almost like they don’t clean AT ALL. Now, about the staff. Laughable service. I walked to the desk to check in, and no one was there to assist. I stood there for about 10 minutes before I decided to walk around to figure out who can help. There was a group of 3 employees chatting and talking outside the door. I tapped on the door and a woman came in. No apology, nothing. Okay whatever. I was checked in and went up to the room, no problem. My stay was during the week, so I was working. The apps on the tv didn’t work, it kept saying to connect to the network. I called and asked if there was anything that could be done about the WiFi like maybe rebooting it. I was looking for a phone in the room so I could call the front desk and there was no phone! I had to use my cell to call the hotel number and the same woman that checked me in answered, “yeah, the WiFi has been going in and out.” She disconnected the call. Excuse me? I called again and of course, she didn’t answer. My partner called and the woman answered with an attitude. She told my partner that the WiFi was going in and out due to the weather. Umm, it was a clear normal night. So, what weather? She disconnected the call again. Next day, I had to use my hotspot to work, I was annoyed, but hey, I had to find a way. After a couple of hours, my partner and I decided to get the hell out of there and go to another hotel. I respect the good reviews that people have left and I genuinely think they had a great experience. Maybe I was too sober and noticed all the mess that was going on.
