It was my second time staying here, with the hope that the service would be better the second time around. I would not classify this hotel as a 4 star.
The room is comfortable stylish and neat. Great views.
They do not offer high level of service and concierge. We arived with a lot of baggage, and we had to help ourselves with the trolly and take it to the room ourselves. No one even offered. The following day on our departure it was raining and the entrance was flooded, then only did the manager prompt staff to assist us, again, this is after we collected the trolley and made our way down to the entrance. A older couple had the same experience with no help what so ever.
Having buffet breakfast included is convienient, but definitely not up to standards for a 4 star hotel. No fresh pastries except for flap jacks, that are cold. No specialilty breads only white and brown.
The only staff that were friendly and inviting were the staff cleaning the rooms.

We stayed in Diaz hotel and resort for 2N/3D in Nov25. The hotel location is very good and calm with the best sunrise and direct ocean views but the facilities and services regarding customer handling were average. The room was not fully clean when we arrived. Also, we were committed veg breakfast in buffet, but there were no veg options available at all and the hotel staff told us to take the service on an Indian restaurant on the 1st floor.
