The hosts are incredible people! I have been to alot of guesthouses but the owners thought of everything from which restaurants are best in town to even having their menu on site so you can plan ahead of time. The breakfast is cooked by them specially! The food is incredible with amazing different tea flavors and coffee. Rooms are neat and clean and the showers are huge with amazing water pressure! We will definitely be coming back!

My stay at Avenues Guesthouse was very good and truly exceeded my expectations. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was also a highlight: fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day.
I felt very safe throughout my stay, even when returning late at night, which made a big difference. The overall atmosphere of the guesthouse was warm and relaxing, making it easy to feel at home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay.

An easy walk to Mossel Bay 'downtown' so no need to unpark the car having arrived for our overnighter. Very friendly place with a few people staying there (but didn't feel busy). Nice rooms.
