It was wonderful stay, the room is clean and tidy, well maintained. Right at the heart of Mysore, walking distance to Mysore Palace, if you don't mind to walk a little. There is a lot of auto rickshaw outside of the hotel anyway, 100 Ruppees onl. Near market and restaurants. Don't hesitate, book the hotel no problem. Manager and the whole staffs are helpful and kind.

Review of Devis Grand Hotel When booking a hotel, my key filters included a restaurant and bar availability, and I was pleased to see complimentary breakfast mentioned. However, my experience at Devis Grand Hotel was disappointing, especially considering the price point of nearly ₹6,000 per day. Parking and Check-in Experience The property offers very limited parking, with space for only two cars in a narrow area. This made parking my vehicle quite difficult and inconvenient. The room was ready upon check-in, which was a positive aspect. However, the cleanliness and ambience fell short of expectations. I had requested an extra bed during booking, for which I was charged. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The staff member who delivered the luggage displayed attitude and reluctance to set up the extra bed. Additionally, the "extra bed" turned out to be a small mattress with a bedsheet and no adequate blanket, which was disappointing. Food and Dining Experience The food quality was below standard and did not meet expectations. My colleagues, who accompanied me, also expressed discomfort regarding the ambience and food safety. We frequently resorted to takeaways and online food orders for meals. A visit to the rooftop bar was similarly underwhelming, as it lacked aesthetic appeal and better maintenance could have significantly improved the experience. Breakfast Disappointment Given that the hotel claimed to have a restaurant, I expected a complimentary buffet breakfast. However, I was informed at the reception that breakfast would be delivered to the room and was outsourced or parcelled. This was quite disappointing and not aligned with the experience I had anticipated. Checkout Experience We checked out early at 6:30 AM, but there was no receptionist or security personnel available. We had to leave the room key on the reception desk, which felt unprofessional and unorganized. The Only Positive Aspect The property’s location in the heart of White Town is its sole redeeming feature. It’s within walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, and bars, which adds convenience. Final Thoughts Overall, I found this hotel to be poor value for money. While the location is excellent, the lack of cleanliness, inadequate service, and subpar dining experience overshadow its advantages. At a rate of ₹6,000 per day, this property is not worth it. Perhaps at ₹3,000 per day, the limitations could be more acceptable, but at this price point, I cannot recommend it.

The location was perfect making it easy to explore all the places. Will recommend it.
