We had a great stay from September 15–17, 2026! Our room was clean and well-stocked with toiletries. Special thanks to Mr. Chao and Mr. Lin for being so warm, courteous, and helpful with practical information about Dali. Highly recommended!"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dali Yanyuan Mountain Retreat! The room was spacious, came equipped with an air-conditioning unit that acts as a heater as well, the toilet also had a heater function as well, which we loved! The property also provides a unique choice of local tea’s as well as drip coffee. Location wise is really ideal as there are small mini marts just around the corner, and Dali Ancient Town is a short 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Lin & Chao, the property owners and hosts were extremely helpful and kind to help us out with any of our questions to make our stay as comfortable as possible, kudos to both of them and thank you for your hospitality.

Definitely value for money and best location. Opposite is the Dali Ancient City, just walk in distance and bunch of food around. Super friendly staff that recommended nearby attractions and best food. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at Yanyuan Mountain Retreat. The property is quaint, peaceful, and beautifully designed, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. It's about a 10-minute walk from Dali Ancient City, which was convenient enough to enjoy the attractions while staying away from the crowds. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a quiet and charming stay with excellent hospitality, I'd definitely recommend this place.
