We were in chengdu for 2d1n and I was so glad and thankful for this hotel. When stepping in, it has the old money feel to it with many beautiful paintings and gold trims. I felt like a million bucks!
Most importantly, there were nice malls around the hotel which made for good last minute shopping and best of all, the main airport line is right in front of the hotel! It took only a 10-15min to get from the hotel lobby and into the train station waiting for the direct airport shuttle.
From the city centre it's alittle further but getting a Didi (china's grab/Uber service) is not an issue as the hotel is near the HSR train station where there are many Didi ready.
The room size is also just nice for a couple with ample space to repack our luggage and get ready to go on our plane.
The service staff was also extremely helpful with all our needs and enquiries.
Will definitely stay there again if I get a chance!

Staff was exceptional but the hotel needs to be more firm on their rules. The non smoking floors and rooms smell like smoke, the toilet smells. The shower room have mold and grime on the floor. The carpet have spots. The entire hotel looks worn. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone either kids or is a non smoker.
