    The property is old and reasonably well maintained, but there are virtually no services or comforts. The wooden sun loungers have no cushions, and the round garden chairs are also completely bare, without any cushions. There is plenty of staff, but the service is poor. There is a large water dispenser with paper cups, but no bar service or any other refreshments available. Breakfast closes at 8:30 a.m., (but you have time until 9:30 to finish it). The roma are clean and the beds comfortable although the style is really old. The restaurant, however, is good, and the staff there are friendly.

    For it being the “nicest hotel on the island”, the vibes were a little off for me. The reception staff weren’t the friendliest, but the rest of the hotel staff were attentive and nice. There aren’t any restaurants in walking distance, so you either have to get a taxi or reserve a table at the restaurant in the lobby. This hotel seems very nice if you’re traveling as a group.

    This resort is tucked away from any stores in kumejima which makes the scenery even better.
