We stayed at few nights here and found everything great. Never saw staff as we arrived after hours. That process was very easy. Older style bathroom, with shower over bath, but that was fine for us. Facilities to be able to make breakfast, noodles, plus a microwave in room. Coles supermarket nearby. We explored outside of Launceston most days but would definitely stay again if we come back.

Overall, the room was reasonably priced and clean, but unfortunately I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
The room itself was adequate, however the facilities and amenities were lacking. The shower had poor water pressure and the temperature constantly fluctuated between freezing cold and scalding hot, making it difficult to have a comfortable shower.
One thing I found surprising was the lack of power points near the bed. In today’s world, most people charge their phones and devices overnight, so this was quite inconvenient. There was also no toaster or basic breakfast preparation facilities.
The biggest downside was the parking. The car park is very steep and simply too small for the number of rooms. Spaces are extremely tight and it was often full. Parking an expensive vehicle so close to others was stressful, as there was very little room to manoeuvre or avoid accidental damage.
On check-in the TV wasn’t working and around half of the lights in the room didn’t work. These issues were eventually rectified, but it wasn’t a great first impression.
We stayed multiple nights and the room wasn’t serviced during our stay. Personally, I would have expected at least fresh towels each day, although I understand this may vary between hotels.
The room was also difficult to keep warm, with fairly thin bedding. The bathroom included louvre windows facing the external walkway. While the glass is frosted, it offers very little privacy, which made using the bathroom feel less private than expected.
Early each morning (around 5:00 am) the garbage truck emptied bins outside, and the windows did very little to block the noise. Fortunately we were already awake, but it would certainly have disturbed anyone hoping to sleep in.
Finally, cigarette smoke—and on one occasion what appeared to be cannabis smoke—drifted into the room from outside, which wasn’t particularly pleasant.
Overall, the hotel was affordable and the room itself was fine, but the combination of the parking, maintenance issues, noise, lack of privacy in the bathroom, and limited amenities means I don’t think I’d stay here again.
