    so we booked this property before reading the reviews. after we read the reviews about the horrible check-in process and zero contact information for the property, i contacted agoda multiple times. the day before our check-in i contacted agoda again and they finally gave me the property’s phone number to call if we needed (spoiler yes we did need). day of arrival after 3pm; no check-in information or anything regarding our arrival or where to collect the keys. zero communication from the property. no email, phone call or text message. so we called the number agoda supplied to us. the property said they had a completely different phone number and email address listed under my booking name.. seems suspicious considering almost every review is stating the same check-in issues. they gave us the location of the keys in the lockbox, which you can walk to but it’s easier to drive. the key pick up location is unmanned and nobody there. after the phone call they sent us a text message saying we had to fill in an online check-in form and supply the $300 bond before we received the key code for the lockbox. standing outside out the front of a random office. we finally got the keys 1 hour 30 mins after we initially arrived. the apartment itself was okay. i regularly stay at circle on cavill so i knew what to expect. this apartment definitely needs a deep clean- there was cockroaches of a night time and very obvious fingerprints all over the glass windows and on the mirrors in the bathroom. the beds had only 1 flat sheet ? one single thin sheet to sleep and it was not summer time, which i found very bizarre, so we had to run to kmart to buy an additional blanket as the blankets they supplied in the wardrobe were very dirty and smelt. i’m happy we did get the allocated car park which was no issue, the wifi worked well, the balcony view was lovely and the apartment was furnished nicely. but overall some improvements definitely needs to be made, especially the check-in process.
