Hotel was in an ideal location for Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Museum and Presidential Gardens. Room was clean and comfortable. There is some construction work going on next door (which we knew of from previous reviews). We stayed on a Saturday night and it didn't affect our stay. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. We liked this place so much that we've made another booking for when we return to Hanoi at the end of our trip.

1st day put us in a room with shower sewer smell then had to move. can't get dropped off or picked up in front of hotel b/c of construction. yet we see other vehicles coming & going. breakfast was pretty good & friendly staff. *** the front staff booked us a limo to ha long bay & we paid $410. d each. the time got changed & waited 1 hour & then we got transferred 3 times into different limos. took us 5 hours to get to ha long bay. got dropped off on the 2nd time in some town & no one could explain. called hotel & they said it was because we didnt have a private ride. we talked to other tourists & our new hotel they said there should have been ""NO""" transfers. Huge mix up & unreliable transport company they work with. we dont like being misinformed as they said they limo came 5 minutes early & then left. we were on time!
