    Highly recommended accomodation with best location for camping over and natural site seeing. Despite being interior, they provide with the great reception and interior of the accomodation could easily beat a cbd style hotels. Provided with all sorts of facilities and equipments. Not forgetting outside fire pit for winter season. Exceptional accomodation

    The village takes 15 minutes drive from the town as expected. No coverage but offered Starlink high speed WiFi. Cozy room and quiet countryside vibe.

    I don’t understand why this place is underrated, but we definitely had a great time here. I was looking for a place that could accommodate our big group of 9 families (26 people), and this place worked really well for us. We booked the 6-bedroom house plus a family room, and there were more than enough beds for everyone. The beds were big and very comfortable too! The 6-bedroom house is a little outdated inside, but it was definitely clean, spacious, and well-equipped. There were enough supplies for our whole group, and we were able to cook our meals and even have a barbecue on the balcony. There’s also a fireplace and a bonfire area if your group wants to use them. We stayed during the colder season, but surprisingly, the rooms upstairs didn’t even need heaters because they were already so warm. We all had a really good sleep. We also loved the surroundings. There are peacocks at the back, and there’s a nearby river where you can go for a walk and possibly spot platypuses and kangaroos. The kids and adults enjoyed just roaming around the property and taking in the peaceful surroundings. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. One of them even took our group photos for us! They provided milk and made sure we had enough supplies for our stay. We were also able to check in before the 4 PM check-in time because our rooms were already ready, which we really appreciated. The property is around a 13-minute drive from the town centre, but they have a restaurant. For a group as large as ours, though, I would say it was very good value for money. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and really loved having so much space to ourselves. A great option for big families or large groups travelling together!

    We stayed at Carinya Village for one night and overall, the location and facilities were good. We particularly booked the area for the bonfire and BBQ areas. The lady at reception was lovely, welcoming and helpful when we arrived. She showed us the bonfire area and told us that we could use the wood provided there. Unfortunately, our experience changed later that evening. Just as we were finishing up at the bonfire, a male staff member approached us and said he was from reception. He asked which room we were staying in and told us that we were not supposed to use the bonfire or the wood, and that the wood cost $30. Paying $30 was not the issue at all. The concern was the way this was communicated. He approached us in front of other guests and spoke to us in a way that felt quite rude and uncomfortable. When we explained that the receptionist had specifically told us we could use the bonfire and the wood, he did not really acknowledge or address what we were saying. We also tried to speak with someone at reception about the situation, but he said that he was the person at reception. Unfortunately, there was no one available at reception when we checked out, so we didn’t get an opportunity to properly raise our concerns. The place itself is nice, and we enjoyed the location and facilities. However, the customer service could have been much better. Clear communication between staff would also have prevented this situation, as we were simply following the information given to us when we checked in.
