Good value for money, and the location is excellent. The tram stop is directly across from the accommodation, just a two-minute walk from the front door. The staff were friendly, supportive, and always willing to help. The shared kitchen and bathroom areas were cleaned daily. However, there were several downsides. The toilets and showers are shared by both men and women, and their cleanliness really depends on the other guests. As a solo female traveller, I often felt uncomfortable seeing men walking around the bathroom area half-dressed. The air conditioning/heating system also seems very old (it felt like something from the 1990s), and it wasn’t powerful enough to keep the room warm during cold nights. If you’re staying in winter, I’d recommend bringing a heat blanket. I stayed for about a week, but housekeeping only came once during my stay. I had to ask the front desk to have my room cleaned and my towels replaced, which was a bit inconvenient.(Despite l kept hanging housekeeping sign on the doorknob) A few tips for future guests: bring a 2-metre charging cable or a power board with multiple outlets if you plan to use your phone in bed, as the power points are far from the bed. If you’re staying for an extended period, it’s also worth bringing your own cutlery, plate, and mug, as the shared kitchen supplies can be limited.(They have plates, kettle, microwave, chopping board, knives but not many cutlery) Lastly, the billiard table is in poor condition and clearly hasn’t been maintained for quite some time. Overall, it’s a good budget option with a fantastic location, but there are definitely areas that could be improved, especially the shared bathroom arrangements, housekeeping frequency, heating, and maintenance of the facilities.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. staff were friendly and helpful throughout.The location was convenient, and the overall experience was good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

The accommodation was basic and reasonably located, but I would not recommend it for families with young children. The environment was not very kid-friendly. My four-year-old spoke briefly at a normal volume in the kitchenette shortly after 10 p.m., and another guest immediately confronted us about the noise. We were only there for a few minutes to wash our plates, but the experience made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a family. Parents should be aware that there appeared to be very little tolerance for normal child behaviour. Overall, this may be an affordable option for individual travellers, but families with young children may be better off staying elsewhere.
