This hotel has been renamed from "Camel City Hotel" to "Hanoi City Gate Hotel" (which fits much better). But it still looks the same as in the older photos here. It is conveniently located on the edge of the Old Quarter with a lot of tourist facilities (cafes, bars, restaurants, street food, travel agents, ATM, money exchange etc.). Furthermore, some tourist sights are within walking distance. We had a quick check-in. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. There was a safe and a fridge. The room does not have a window, which is a bit strange as you won't realize a change between day and night. There is no sound insulation, so one can even hear the neighbors coughing. There is the opportunity for an airport pickup via prebooked taxi. It costs 17 Dollar and can be arranged after booking the accommodation.
